Rapex ska hjälpa mot våldtäkter
Snart kan sydafrikanska kvinnor eventuellt köpa Rapex som är en kondom som skyddar mot våldtäkt. Den sätts in som en tampong och har små krokar som hakar fast i en eventuell våldtäksmans penis.
Efter flera uppskjutna lanseringar, och tre års försök, hoppas nu skaparen Sonette Ehlers att Rapex ska finnas i butikerna i Sydafrika, ett land som plågas av många våldtäktsfall.
Rapex har dock fått kritik från flera håll. Ett argument emot är att den skulle kunna leda till ökat våld mot kvinnor som använder den, då våldtäktsmannens aggression kan bli större av smärtan.
